In a decisive operation aimed at curbing illegal drug activities, SPD through the District Drug Enforcement Unit dismantled a drug den and seized approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱340,000.00.

The operation took place at 1:00 AM of June 8, 2024, in Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros. Team led by SPD DEU together with personnel from DID, DMFB, PDEA-SDO, Pateros MPS DEU, and Sub-station 1 conducted the buy-bust operation.

Three suspects were apprehended during the operation identified as alias Bugoy, 29 years old, listed as a high-value individual (HVI), alias Philip 23 years old, listed as a street-level individual (SLI) and alias Arleen, 45 years old, also listed as HVI and maintainer of the drug den.

Suspects are presently detained at Pateros Municipal Police Station while complaints for violation of RA 9165 are being prepared against them.
