In the early hours of Friday (June 14), Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit personnel executed a buy-bust operation leading to the arrest of two individuals and the confiscation of more or oras 50 grams of suspected illegal drugs.

At approximately 4:30 AM, in Barangay San Valley, Parañaque City, operatives apprehended alias Rona, 33 years old and alias Aeron (subject of buy bust), 17 years old. Both suspects were taken into custody for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation resulted in the seizure of six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet weighing an estimated 50 GRANs with Standard Drug Price (SDP) value ₱340,000.00. Also, seized were buy bust money consisting of one genuine ₱1000 bill, six counterfeit ₱1000 bills, one ₱1000 bill (Recovered Money), one black coin purse, and one RedMi cellular Phone.

Alias Aeron being a minor will be turned over to Bahay Pagasa while alias Rona is currently detained at Parañaque City Police Station where complaint for violation of RA 9165 (Sec 11) will be filed against her.
