In a quick and effective response of the Las Piñas City Police, a robbery suspect involved in a hold-up incident that transpired at approximately 2:30 AM of Monday (July 15) at a convenience store in Rainbow Village, San Antonio Street Barangay Marcos Alvarez, Talon 5, has been apprehended.

PBGEN LEON VICTOR Z ROSETE, DD, SPD identified the suspect as alias Allan, 48 years old, call center agent.

Personnel from the Talon Sub-Station, PCpl Valle, PCpl Buenavista, and Pat Dabu, were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the robbery report. Upon their arrival, victim averred that while the victim, alias Daryl, a 20-year-old store crew member, was attending to his duty as cashier (money counts) and about to drop cash inside the vault, when suspect suddenly appeared and pretended to be a customer and was cautioned inside the store for not removing his helmet and instead of acceding he declared the heist and withdrew his firearms. During the robbery, the suspect hit, on the left arm and demanded handing over the cash amounting to ₱ 67,314.00, which was the store’s sales for the day, while uttering “bilisan mo” and forcibly taken the cash . The suspect, after obtaining the money, fled the scene on a motorcycle heading towards Alabang-Zapote Road.

The Talon Sub-Station police immediately launched a hot pursuit operation. Their swift and coordinated efforts led to the suspect’s arrest at approximately 5:00 AM on the same day. Recovered from his possession was one sling bag containing one 9mm Armscor with three magazines loaded with 9 ammunition and 30 additional live ammunition, one black holster, identification cards of the suspect and stolen cash

Suspect will be facing violation for Robbery Hold-up with force intimidation, RA 10591 and RA 11235 (Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act).
