
A Chinese national was arrested early this morning (August 23) after being caught urinating in public, resisting arrest, and being found in possession of drug paraphernalia.
The suspect, identified as Huang, a 33-year-old male, was apprehended by personnel from Sub-station 10 (MOA), Pasay City Police Station. Officers were conducting routine anti-criminality patrol at 12:30 AM at the CBP Compound, Coral Way, Barangay 76, Zone 10, Pasay City when they observed the suspect urinating in a public place. When approached to issue a citation ticket, Huang attempted to flee, prompting the officers to pursue and apprehend him.
During the arrest, standard body search was conducted, leading to the discovery of drug paraphernalia, including a small transparent plastic bag, an improvised glass pipe, an improvised plastic bottle, and other related items.
The suspect is now facing violation of Pasay City Ordinance No. 1572 (Urinating in Public Place), Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority), and Section 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia).
