Three individuals were arrested in a buy bust operation conducted by joint team from SPD Drug Enforcement Unit, PDEA-SDO, DID, DSOU, DMFB, and Taguig City Police Sub-Station 9, on October 7, 2024 at about 11:45PM in Brgy. New Lower, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The suspects were identified as alias Mark, a 40-year-old electrician, alias Ponggo, female, 35 years old, and alias Nasria, Female, 30 years old. The operation also resulted in the seizure of approximately 60 grams of suspected shabu ₱408,000.00.

The seized drug evidence will be turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit (SPDFU) for chemical analysis, while complaint for violation of Section 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against alias Mark and violation of Section 11 of Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against alias Ponggo and Nasria.
