Identified as alias “Joseph” and alias “John,” the two suspects were apprehended for possession of suspected marijuana, with an estimated weight of 30 grams and a street value of PHP3,600.00. They attempted to flee after being flagged down during Oplan Sita conducted by the Pateros Police in the early hours of October 12, 2024, in Barangay Aguho, Pateros Municipality.

Police Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, District Director of the Southern Police District, commended the Pateros Police for their vigilance and swift response when the suspects tried to escape.

The suspects are currently in the custody of the Pateros Municipal Police Station for further disposition.
