Buy-bust operation by Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit led to the arrest of alias Joel 52 years old listed as high value individual in the drug watchlist, on June 18, 2024, at approximately 11:40 PM at his residence located at in Barangay New Lower Bicutan.

The operation led to the confiscation of eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), with an estimated weight of 53 grams and street value of ₱360,400.00. Additionally, authorities recovered one genuine ₱500 bill, six pieces of ₱1,000 boodle money used in the buy-bust operation, and a green pouch.

The seized evidence has been submitted to the SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory examination. Complaint for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is being prepared against the suspect and will be filed with the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
