The Parañaque City Police arrested alias “Davy,” a karate instructor, in a hot pursuit operation following a house robbery in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City, early in the morning of October 12, 2024.

Dispatched through a 911 call, responding officers were able to track the suspect using the GPS from the victim’s stolen cellphone. “Davy” was apprehended in Sta. Cruz, Manila, in the afternoon of the same day.

“Davy” will face charges of robbery, illegal possession of firearms, and other related offenses.

Police Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, District Director of the Southern Police District, commended the swift response of the Parañaque Police and the cooperation of the victim.

“This demonstrates that when the police and the community work together, it leads to positive results,” PBGen Yang said.
