At about 9:55 AM today (August 2), operatives from the Warrant and Subpoena Section of Parañaque City Police Station arrested suspect identified as alias John, listed as Top 7 Station Level Most Wanted Person of Parañaque CPS. The 25-year-old freelancer was apprehended in Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Illegal Recruitment under Section 6, First Paragraph of Republic Act No. 8042, as amended by Republic Act No. 10022. The warrant, associated with Criminal Case Number 17069, was issued by Hon. Alym Rito Almavda, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Fifth Judicial Region, Branch 7, Legaspi, Albay, on September 29, 2023. The court recommended a bail amount of ₱120,000.00.

Accused is presently detained at Custodial Facility of Parañaque CPS. Return of Warrant of Arrest is being prepared to notify the issuing court that the same has been served.
