The Southern Police District (SPD), under the leadership of Police Brigadier General Randy Y. Arceo, Acting District Director, achieved an impressive 92.6% crime solution efficiency alongside a notable decline in index crimes across its six police stations for the week of October 13–19, 2025 — a clear testament to the district’s intensified anti-criminality drive and proactive policing strategies.
SPD recorded a total of 27 index crimes during the week, of which 23 were solved, 2 cleared, and only 2 remain under investigation. The outstanding efficiency rate highlights the district’s relentless efforts to ensure swift action and accountability in every reported case.
Among the reported offenses, theft (13 cases) and physical injury (5 cases) topped the list, followed by robbery (4 cases), rape (3 cases), murder (1 case), and carnapping of motorcycle (1 case).
In terms of station performance, Parañaque City Police Station logged the highest number of cases (7), followed by Taguig City Police Station (6) and Makati City Police Station (5). Despite these figures, the majority of cases were promptly solved or cleared, demonstrating the effectiveness of ongoing police interventions and community coordination under the guidance of PBGEN Arceo.
PBGEN Arceo commended all SPD units for their consistent commitment to public safety, citing their vital contribution to the district’s continuous improvement in crime reduction.
“The steady decline in index crimes and our 92.6% solution efficiency rate reflect the discipline, diligence, and professionalism of our personnel. Through sustained operations and strong community partnership, we continue to prove that a proactive and united police force can truly make a difference in keeping our communities safe,” said PBGEN Arceo.
