On August 2, 2024, at approximately 10:05 AM, a robbery incident occurred at a Noodle House in Bradco Avenue, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City. An unidentified male suspect wearing a motorcycle helmet, armed with firearm entered the restaurant. One of the suspects declared hold-up and at gunpoint forcibly took the cellphones and other valuables of three foreign national victims identified as alias Roger, 31, Canadian National; alias Kit, 58, female, Malaysian National; and alias Yu, 60, female, Chinese National. Following the robbery, the suspect fled the scene onboard a motorcycle driven by another suspect.

During the follow-up operation, a witness came forward and identified the suspect in the viral video as alias Kuyang. Acting on this information, authorities arrested alias Kuyang on August 5, 2024, at approximately 4:30 AM at his residences in Riverside, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

Recovered from alias Kuyang was a .45 caliber pistol without a serial number, loaded with seven live rounds, and a red Honda Beat motorcycle with MV file number 090100000279249. Complaints for Grave Threat, Robbery and violation of RA 10591 is being prepared against alias Kuyang who is presently detained at Parañaque Detention Facility while continuous follow-up operations is underway to apprehend the second suspect.
