In a significant operation aimed at curbing illegal drug activities, Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit apprehended a high-value individual (HVI), in a successful buy-bust operation early morning (4:45AM) of Tuesday, June 25 at brgy. Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.

The operation resulted in the confiscation of 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱1,020,000.00.

The suspect, identified as alias Abel, 39 was apprehended for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

During the operation, seized were six heat-sealed transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing a total of 150 grams, a red pouch, a digital weighing scale, ₱1,000.00 bill used as buy-bust money, and 19 pieces ₱1,000.00 boodle money.

The suspect and the confiscated items are now under police custody for proper disposition and filing of appropriate complaints.
