
In the early hours of October 11, 2024, the CAA Sub-station of the Las Piñas City Police Station conducted Oplan Galugad, that led to the arrest of two individuals for serious drug and firearms violations.
During the operation, which took place at 1:00 AM in, Barangay Manuyo Dos, police apprehended two suspects known as alias Luigi (18) and alias Jomar (41). The suspects were found in possession of approximately 52.98 grams of suspected shabu, with street value estimated at ₱360,264.00. Additionally, a Colt Defender .45 caliber pistol, loaded with two live rounds, was seized.
Seized evidence were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative analysis. While the arrested suspects will face complaints for Violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165) and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (RA 10591).

It allows us to proactively address and eliminate the threats posed by illegal drugs and firearms, ensuring a safer environment for all residents.”
